Using the trash

Nebo's trash feature lets you recover any deleted notes, folders, or collections. Whether you've accidentally removed an important note or changed your mind about something you discarded, this feature ensures your content isn’t lost forever.

Delete a file

Long press your file (note, folder, or collection) to move it to the trash.

Restore your files

Here’s how to recover a deleted note, folder, or collection in just a few steps:

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Tap the ... button, then choose Trash.
3. Long press the note, folder, or collection you want to recover.
4. Tap Recover.

Delete files permanently

Follow these steps to permanently delete a note, folder, or collection:

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Tap the ... button, then choose Trash.
3. Long press the note, folder, or collection you want to delete.
4. Tap Delete, then Delete permanently to confirm.

About the trash

Here are key tips to effectively manage deleted files and optimize storage on your device:

• Empty the trash regularly to free up storage space on your device.
• Files in the trash can’t be opened or edited, you need to recover them first.
• Deleted notebook or PDF pages are not sent to the trash; they are permanently deleted and can’t be restored.
